Introduction to the Souwèr Technique

Senegalese glass painting, known as “souwèr” in Wolof, is a folk art technique in which artists paint upside down on a glass panel.

This workshop is led by Senegalese artist Mbaye Diop. It offers an opportunity to discover or rediscover this folk and naive art form.

Expérience tactile

The 60-minute “Expérience tactile” provides a unique introduction to the fascinating world of glass art. Guided by Swiss glass artist Magali Kocher, this experience will take you into a rich artistic world full of surprises. Using your sense of touch, you will learn about different types of glass and glass-working techniques.
