La touche du peintre. Les verres vénitiens de Dino Martens

The exhibition conceived in close collaboration with the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice, is devoted to the graphical work of the Venetian artist and designer Corrado Martens (1894-1970), known as ‘Dino’.

Presenting a selection of original drawings, mainly produced between the 1940s and 1960s, belonging to the archives of the Centro Studi del Vetro of the Institute of Art History of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, the exhibition centers on the pictorial approach of Dino Martens – one of the most influential artists and designers of Venice in the 20th century – focusing on the chronological arch of his most emblematic and colorful production, which was at the origin of his iconic glass pieces.
