Group exhibition of Verarte

The RESOLVED exhibition displays glass artworks by the following artists of Verarte: Françoise Bolli, Roland Breitschmid, Hubert Crevoisier, Jean-Pierre Demierre, Isabelle Fontannaz, Daniel Gaemperle, Sabine Gysin, Priska Jacobs, Bernd Kniel, Marie-Eve Perez, Erna Piechna-Sowersby, Noëmi Rehberg, Christoph Stooss, Veronika Suter, Helena Ťapajnová, Andreas Vetterli, Thomas Woodtli.

Glass is reinterpreted in artistic discourses, which also reveal parallels to tension in human experience. While «tension» often has negative connotations, it is also a force that stimulates growth and transformation. In the case of glass, the tension is due to an incomplete cooling process that makes the material vulnerable. Similarly, we encounter tensions every day: personal, social, and global, from inner struggles to the broader conflicts that shape our world. This exhibition captures moments when tensions are palpable yet unresolved, wavering between balance and vulnerability. It shows moments of unsettling feelings about what might develop, as well as a willingness to face new challenges.
